• Murraygold Ingot: 2nd led yearling colt/gelding and reserve champion Yearling.

• Murraygold Imageon: 1st led yearling filly.

• Uhavta Royal Enchantment: 2nd best presented, 2nd led palomino mare ne 14.2hh, 1st led junior handler and Reserve champion handler(Zoe Lloyd), 1st ridden palomino mare ne 14.2hh and reserve champion ridden mare, 1st rider under 12 years (Zoe Lloyd), 1st special material class-combined led and ridden.

• Firstly I want to apologise for not updating my web site as I have been busy with my family and the Australian Palomino Horsebreeder's Association. We have developed a website to assist members in getting up to date information. As I co-ordinate the web site it was my priority to get this up and working to the  best of its ability to assist our members. www.apha.net.au

• I have been on the committee of the APHA for years (don't want to remember really), as I love assisting people who own or desire to own palomino's. The palomino is my love with regards to horses.

• My first love is my family and my grandchildren.

• foal news; Athanor Sundew has given me a lovely palomino filly to Goldmine Silver Destiny and is hopefully going back in foal for a repeat edition. I have leased Murraygold Clementine to Goldmine stud and she has given them a chestnut filly and is going back in foal to Goldmine Silver Destiny. Mariposa Knotty Dell has given my husband a chestnut colt by Hawks JJ.

• On a sadder note I have  sold one of my girls (Uhavta Royal Fairytale) to Queensland. I haven't stopped crying for a week. The only thing that makes me feel better is knowing that she has gone to a loving home and is going to be ridden and loved by children.

• I also sold my chestnut colt (Murraygold Heritage) to a loving home by Uhavta Dimonds Dreams (AI-UK)   / Athanor Sundew).

• This month I have just had three colts gelded Murraygold Grande Gallery ,  Murraygold Ingot, Murraygold Highlander. Now I will break in Murraygold Grande Gallery and Murraygold  Highlander.

• Murraygold Etiquette is currently being broken in by Ally Lloyd and her sisters. She will come out under saddle in 2010.

• On the showing front we have had a great year campaining five palomino's. Uhavta Royal Enchantment, Uhavta Royal Fairytale, Murraygold Imogene, Murraygold Impression, and Murraygold Ingot. They have represented my stud well across the Ag shows and  at the National Palomino Horsebreeders show.

• Highlights from these shows

  • Uhavta Royal Enchantment-champion led and reserve ridden palomino-Swan Hill AG show, Supreme led and champion ridden-Mildura Ag show. High point palomino mare led and ridden, and Hi point open led , and Hi point Palomino Horse of the Year for the APHA 2008-2009. Reserve champion led palomino mare at the National Palomino Horsebreeders Show.

  • Uhavta Royal Fairytale-Multi sashes at AG shows. Hi Point palomino filly for the APHA 2008-2009

  • Murraygold Imogeon reserve champion led palomino mare-Swan Hill ag, reserve champion mare/filly-Mildura show. Reserve champion led palomino yearling-National Palomino all breeds show.

  • Murraygold Ingot-Reserve champion led colt-Swan Hill Ag, and placed highly at the National Palomino Horsebreeders Show. Murraygold Impression also placed highly at the National Palomino Horsebreeders Show. This little fellow can move the house down and will be more mature next season.

BMX competition.

• Ash and Tom competed at a BMX comp. Tom got 2nd in the open competition and even had a fall.

•  Leading rein pony 6th with Kelissa.

• 1st ridden welsh show pony with Kel Pfieffer.

• missed led as doing lead rein, 1st ridden palomino mare ne 14.2hh, champion ridden palomino(Helen in the saddle.)

January 2009

APSB Victorian state show

Uhavta Royal Enchantment: 1st led APSB mare n.e. 12.2hh, 1st ridden part bred APSB ne 12.2hh, 1st newcomer pony ridden, 2nd intermediate ridden pony, 1st ridden adult APSB part bred pony.

Melbourne Royal Horse Show.

• Uhavta Royal Enchantment: 3rd led palomino mare, 1st ridden palomino mare and champion ridden. 1st led part bred APSB, and 3rd ridden part bred APSB NE 12.2hh.
